Oregon Heritage Farms is proud to offer customized tours and field trips to fit any group. Our tours operate daily Monday thru Friday, rain or shine, in September and October. Please call early to reserve your spot. We only allow one group at a time and the dates fill up quickly. We have an array of fun filled activities to delight kids of all ages. These include our covered hay ride, animal viewing area, hay maze, picnic tables and our exclusive "Jumping Apple!" The tour includes samples of apples, cider and a take home apple sippy cup.

For those of you with first graders and older we can arrange a tour of our packing facility. This is a great educational and visually informative way for the kids to experience the process of the apple from tree to grocery store. Ample chaperones is a must for safety reasons.

Our covered hay ride trailer will comfortably fit 20 students with adult chaperones. It departs from our farm store and travels thru one of our apple orchards. The ride itself takes approximately 15 minutes.

Before you leave our farm all are given an apple to bring home with them. For smaller groups driving individual vehicles they may pick their own apple from the bins in the store. We do ask that they look first and take the one they touch. For larger groups traveling on buses we will give pre-packaged bags to the teachers to take back to the classroom to distribute as they see fit or to use at school.

During the month of October all students receive a pumpkin from our special area by our front fence. These pumpkins are the ones that they should be able to carry themselves. This is to insure safety on buses.
